Pre-School @ The Cambourne Campus

PLACES AVAILABLE

Our Pre-School offers a welcoming, nurturing and stimulating environment which allows your child to play freely indoors and outdoors. Carpet sessions and free flow activity time, coupled with a well-resourced environment and a rich, broad and balanced play based curriculum are all designed to support and encourage your individual child’s learning and development alongside developing their independence. We aim to provide an early years curriculum and environment that is inclusive and progressive running through from Pre-School to the end of Reception. This is supported by knowledgeable, experienced and highly trained early years practitioners. Our onsite Pre-School is an integral part of our school community, ensuring fluid progression into our Reception class.

We are excited and passionate about supporting your child throughout their early years journey and we invite and encourage you to be an integral part of this process. Relationships are key and by working together with you, we aim to give your child the best start in life. We offer regular opportunities for you to come in, share and celebrate in your child’s learning.

What we offer/Funding

We operate the following core hours for children from the day after their 3rd birthday. We also offer a full induction process that includes a home visit and two settling in sessions.

Our core hours operate as follows:

- All day: 9:30am - 3.30pm (includes lunch 12:00-12:30)*

-Morning session: 9:30am-12:30pm (includes lunch 12:00-12:30)*

-Afternoon session: 12:30pm-3:30pm

*(Please note children staying for lunch are required to bring in their own packed lunch)

We also offer the option of an early drop off session between 9.00am and 9.30am, but this is not part of the Pre-School's core offer and is consequently a paid for session.

We offer 15 or 30 hours of funded sessions per week the term after they turn 3, depending on personal circumstances. We recommend that you take up as many sessions or full days as possible with us, to allow your child to benefit fully from their time and experience in our Pre-School.
