How the PTA supports the School
What the PTA have funded since September 2021
- Contributed over £7000 to refurbishment of both campus' libraries
- Woodwork safe storage containers for tools for the new Woodwork curriculum being offered
- Magazine subscriptions
- Outdoor Clocks for both sites
- Bookmarks for all children as a thank you for the Readathon sponsorship
- WOW visitors for the whole school - currently this has been for a planetarium visit for years 5 & 6 but over the next 2 years this will include an Animal experience for year 3/4, the Raptor foundation for years 1 & 2 and a reptile experience for Reception.
- Replaced Hardwick Campus' outdoor drama area
- Every class received £50 to spend as the children wished on classroom fun!
- Wet playtime games
- Outdoor Sports equipment replaced
Over the last 4 years the PTA has funded the following across both Campus with the money raised through our fundraising efforts and the generous support from all the families at our schools.
- Plants for all classes and communal areas to help improve air quality and wellbeing of staff and children
- Woodwork benches for Early years at both sites
- Thanks to EasiGrass Cambridge for the donation of artificial grass we have helped with creating outdoor reading areas in Reception and nursery at Cambourne & Reception at Hardwick
- Beanbags to improve the outdoor reading area at Hardwick
- General playground improvements at Hardwick
- Sports equipment at both sites
- Library improvements at both sites
- 5 x Picnic benches at Hardwick
- Magazine subscriptions
- We have completed the work on the outdoor drama area at Cambourne after receiving a further grant from Taylor Wimpey to complete the works and Brindsley Heritage LTD.
