RE

Through the RE curriculum, children should develop understanding of the role of religion in local, national and global arenas and its influence on culture and behaviours. They should have the opportunity to explore, engage with and reflect on their own beliefs and the beliefs of others through creative, enquiry based learning. In doing so they should be able to celebrate the diversity of faiths around the world and respect others’ views, regardless of their own beliefs.

Parents/Carers have the right to withdraw their child/ren from all or part of the RE teaching curriculum.  Please get in contact with your child's class teacher should this be something you wish to discuss.

Please find below our RE overview and skills progression for Years 1-6

Our Learning in RE

At Hardwick and Cambourne Community Primary School we celebrate the diversity of faiths within our school and all around the world. BBC Bitesize have some great videos to help you learn about lots of different religions. Find out more by exploring the links below.
