English and Reading

Here we have provided some useful links to our school English pages. You will find useful documents and resources, including suggestions of ways to support your child with their writing, an explanation of phonics and a login to the Phonics Play website . If your child is still developing their phonetic knowledge and reading fully decodable books, the link to the Reading Planet Elibrary below can be a great resource for additional texts to read. If your child is a confident reader and enjoys longer texts, you could have a look at the lists of Recommended Reads for Year 3 and Year 4.
