Maybe you could watch and read 'The Jolly Postman or other people’s letters’ by Janet and Allan Ahlberg
Some suggested tasks to choose from using 'The Jolly Postman'.
●make a board game called 'Into the Woods'
●make an advertising poster for Witch supplies
●make a 'witch spotter's guide' or 'Big Bad Wolf' spotter's guide or a 'wicked
stepmother spotter' guide
●make a mini book for a story - a fairy tale character's next adventures
●make a poster by Prince Charming to advertise the search for Cinderella
●an invitation to tea at … e.g. Gingerbread cottage
●write a postcard from one of the characters to another
●a letter of apology from Goldilocks to the Three Bears (or another character)
●a solicitor's letter from the giant to Jack asking for the return of his goose that lays
●make a video of yourself as a news reporter telling us about a fairy tale event that
has just happened – e.g. The Three Bears’ ransacked by a mystery burglar ...
