We have some very exciting news for you ... we're going on a school trip! We have booked you all on a VIRTUAL school trip to Cambridge Science Centre. You are all signed up for a virtual show / workshop next week during half term. We will not be setting as many activities for you to do as you all deserve a well-earned break, however the virtual tour can be accessed at any time from Monday 25th May to Sunday 31st May. It is aimed at Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 so if you have any older brothers / sisters they can join in too. Here is the information about what we have signed you up to:

- Sonic Science -
Ever wondered what sound is or how it travels? How do we even know a sound is being made? Find out as we use tuning forks, speakers, ping-pong balls, smoke rings, and an oversized model of the ear to explore the world of sound. Introducing concepts including pitch and frequency, states of matter, and human anatomy.
Suitable for All Ages, aimed at Key Stage 2 and 3
Show is ~25 minutes

Your teachers should be receiving the link and password at 7:00am on Monday morning which we will then share with you on this website.

In the mean time, if you were looking for more science fun, have you explored the Science area on BBC Bitesize? There is a whole section on sound - perhaps you can test how much you know now about sound, perhaps you can find out even more!
