Monday 20th April

Good Morning Year 3/4

We hope you all had a lovely Easter break and enjoyed the sunshine!

Today is Yuteng's birthday! Hope you have a great day celebrating!

This half term we will be learning about the ingenious inventions of the past. To kick us off, each day we will upload a picture of an invention which your grown-ups will be very familiar with but we do not see as much these days.

Here is the first one:

What do you think it is?

What was it used for?

What do people use nowadays instead?

Here are your daily maths and English tasks - remember to do your best and DON'T worry is you find things tricky - just have a go!
Now you've finished your daily maths and English, what else can you do today? Check out the other activities on the 3/4 page of our website. Check out the 'Story Time' link for a quiet break or the 'Indoor PE' link if you want to get active (or google PE with Joe Wick's for a daily workout!) Maybe set up a science experiment or spend some time drawing? What are you reading at the moment? Could you set up a cosy book corner in your house and lose yourself in a book? Maybe play a board game with family members or even have a go at making your own!
Marie Curie

Congratulations!

Well done for getting back into routine and completing your first set of tasks after the Easter holidays. All the teachers are very proud of you and your hard work. We love seeing what you have been up to so remember to email us pictures or send them to the Instagram page. Check in tomorrow for your next task but now it’s time to relax!

Bye for now...

The Y3/4 teachers
