Good morning Year 3/4. Welcome back after the Bank Holiday weekend.

This week in Maths, Year 3s you are going to be working with money and Year 4s you will be recapping written multiplication and division. Friday is going to a bit different as all of you are all going to recap your arithmetic skills.

Remember that all any of your teachers are expecting you to do is to try your best. If you are finding any of the learning tricky, why not try the year group below. Alternatively, look on the Maths page on the website. There are lots of suggestions for different games in the Home Learning, Problem Solving, Maths through Stories and Playing Maths Games sections.

If you have found this task tricky or if you would like to continue learning, here is an extra activity for you to do:

Empty your money box/piggy bank or ask a parent if you can borrow some coins. Count the money and write the total down in pence and then in pounds and pence.
