Cambourne Recorder Club

The Cambourne Recorder Club is for pupils in years 2 – 6 and runs on Thursday mornings from 8.30am until 9am. There is a small fee for the club which is used to fund extra music equipment for the children in school. Children who receive Pupil Premium Funding may attend the club for free (however, please note all spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis). Letters are sent out at the start of each half term to sign children up for the club on a half termly basis.

This is a fun club based around the enjoyment of music and recorder playing. Children do not need to have played the recorder before to come to the club. Both experienced recorder players and new pupils are equally welcome. Children may bring their own recorder and recorder book if they have them. However, thanks to the PTA, the school does have recorders that can be loaned by the children if they do not have one of their own.
